Description

Your favorite Rocbird bike just got faster with a full 29”/29” setup !!

To get the 29-er, we fine-tuned the geometry of the mullet version to keep its playful suspension feel while making room for the bigger wheel. The rear triangle stays under 440 mm, so berm-slashing is still effortless! After more than a year of hard enduro laps, we’ve locked in the sizing for the best ride feel:
S and M we keep mullet only (29” front & 27.5” rear) L and XL are now full 29” only!

From race day to weekend missions, this geometry just works - letting you ride longer, harder, and more comfortably.

Need some reminding about the frame construction? Rocbird is a lighter frame than the aluminum Thunderbirds, so it will take less beating on the most demanding lines, but on most of the enduro trails you will feel the same riding fun, as Rocbird has the progressive Horst suspension design that works flawlessly, even under heavy braking. Rocbird feels bottomless at the curve's end, allowing both spring and air shocks. To increase rigidity and reliability, we used Max-type bearings with LLU-type seals in this frame.

Thanks to the replaceable shock mount, the Rocbird can be fitted with two sizes of shocks and obtain a frame travel of 160mm or 140mm, adapting it to the preferred riding style.

This enduro/singletrack machine, no matter if in mullet or full-29 setup, makes climbs easier and descents even more playful!

The Rocbird's modern progressive geometry allows for a bottomless feel at the end of the curve, accommodating both spring and air shocks. Each type of shock has its advantages, so the choice depends on personal preference and how the rider prefers their suspension. We aim to accommodate Rider Your Way in all aspects.

The Rocbirds' high leverage ratio at the start of travel helps overcome friction, making the initial part of the ride smooth. Towards the end of the stroke, increased progression provides resistance against bottoming out, ensuring the bike can handle any challenges you encounter.

Are you torn between riding in bike parks or tackling challenging enduro trails with roots, rocks, and mud? The Rocbird can help you with its replaceable shock mount, which allows you to use two different sizes of shocks. This means you can adjust the frame travel to 160mm or 140mm, accommodating various riding styles and preferences.

Our custom bicycle frame protectors are made of thick thermoplastic elastomer material, providing excellent protection against scratches, dents, and impacts. The ribbed pattern design adds durability, and these protectors are specifically tailored to fit Rocbird's frames, offering maximum protection without sacrificing aesthetics.

All Rocbird frames use a screw-in bottom bracket type, as we believe it's the best type of BB for MTB frames, because of its durability and easier maintenance. Also, Rocbird frames, thanks to a special cut on the BB shell, can use a dedicated ISCG05 mount, which can be purchased separately. This allows riders to add a chain guide and bash guard, leaving the option open for personal preference.

All bearings in our full suspension frames feature extra dedicated custom sealing for enhanced protection against dust, dirt, and moisture. Red Mobil grease provides effective lubrication over extended periods, ensuring minimal friction and optimal performance. MAX-type bearings offer over 30% more load capacity than caged bearings.
